Pulsar 150 UG 4 to Pulsar 200 dts-i

Let's talk about Pulsar 150 UG 4. Its stunning no doubt about it.

Hmmm but we all want a change, so a mod in style wont go wrong. In fact it will not only make your bike more appealing but also give you a certain level of confidence. Isn't it?

Let's see the miraculous effect.

You guys can figure out the modifications we have done here. Yes its the split seat and the silencer.

While putting up a split seat you have to be little caution, because you have to weld a metal rod across the frame so that the complete weight over the rear seat will be on this rod and if its not aligned properly it could harm your fiber kit. I am saying this out of my personal experience.

Silencer of Pulsar 200 is little heavier than 150, so be sure about fixing the silencer with a metal piece which gives rigidity to it. And the foot rest of Pulsar 200 is slightly bigger than 150.

Again don't forget perfection is important aspect, because you don't want it to look fake.

SPARE PARTS USED ARE
  • SPLIT SEAT
  • SILENCER
  • SPLIT HANDLE
Pros
  • This Silencer is more comfortable and makes you feel good.
  • Split seats gives you a sporty look.
Cons
  • Pulsar 220 silencer exhaust is bigger so it also make difference in mileage.
  • Split seats must be arranged proper otherwise there is a chance of breaking tail kit.
  • Silencer is heavy so you will feel a little weight on your bike.

Now talk about Foot rest kit, Really I am telling you guys changing foot rest gives you a great difference in your seating and riding. It really makes you feel awesome, its my personal experience.

While assembling all parts make sure if it is fixed properly or not. And must also maintain this modification once in a month.

It look similar to Pulsar 180, isn't it? For normal bike user's, they wont see much difference between 150 and 180 after this modification. But as we know there is a lot of difference between both bikes like Silencer, Split handle bar, Foot rest kit, Split seats, Bigger swing arm, Bigger front fork, leg guards etc. I am only mentioning about the physical appearance.

Pulsar 150 to Pulsar 220

This is the Pulsar 150 cc DTS-I.
As we can see that all spare parts of Pulsar 150 is modified to 220.
This is going to be a great relief to those who want fuel efficiency and flamboyant look. You can see the difference.
Here Split seat, Pulsar 220 silencer and Pulsar 220 head light kit are assembled in it. Modifying Pulsar is a very good option. The thing is Pulsar is perfectly suit for any kind of modification.

For fixing Pulsar 220 silencer you should keep in mind that, 220 silencer is bigger, lengthy and heavier than other, so we fixed the silencer with a small metal piece. And the foot rest of Pulsar 220 is slightly bigger than 150.
Pulsar 220 silencer is heavy, so there will be a drop in mileage.
While assembling all parts make sure if it is fixed properly. And must also maintain this modification once in a month. As I explained in previous post extra precaution should be taken while assembling seats. You have to weld a metal rod across the frame so that the complete weight over the rear seat will be on this rod and if its not aligned properly it could harm your fiber kit.

Pulsar 150 classic to Pulsar 220

OMG!!!

Really it is cool. Pulsar 150 UG 2 is modified with Pulsar 220 spare parts. Great work done here.

Fuel tank is replaced with Pulsar 200 dts-i. Even the wings are installed along with it. The oil cooled cap is also fixed to make it look more appealing. 3D Pulsar logo looks awesome.

Lets talk about silencer, Pulsar 200/220 silencer gave a entire change in Pulsar design. As the silencer is little heavy ( ~ 6kg) It will drop your mileage. But the sound makes it more attractive.

Rear big Tyre gives sporty touch. I feel there may be great drop in mileage and top speed due to bigger Tyre and heavy silencer. But that's doesn't matter.
You can see the leg guards is replaced with Pulsar 200/220, that's awesome work.
If you want to change your rear Tyre and make it bigger then you have to remove your chain cover and that is a main problem. Actually Pulsar 200/220 chain is open type, but this type of Pulsar chain must be protected from dust particles, or else you have to maintain your chain and sprocket properly.

SPARE PARTS USED ARE:
  • FUEL TANK WITH WINGS AND OIL COOLANT CAP
  • REAR BIG TYRE
  • PULSAR 220 SILENCER
  • PULSAR 200/220 LEG GUARDS
Pros
  • This Silencer is more comfortable and makes you feel good.
  • Bigger Tyre give you a perfect balance.
  • Total concept of modification is stunning.
Cons
  • Rear big Tyre may look good but hampers the performance by affecting the mileage.
  • Spare parts for this type of modification are costly.
  • Silencer and bigger Tyre will cause to drop in mileage.

Pulsar 220 with Yamaha R15 side panels

Here again we are with Pulsar 220, now we gonna compile it with Yamaha R15 side panels. Its a amazing combination, really it suits nice with Pulsar 220. Look at the monster now it become a heavy bike. Isn't it looks cool?
And the graphics work is too awesome.

Awesome!!
You can see the marvelous change. This gives our Pulsar a new avatar look.

Hey bike maniacs its for you guys. Its a cost effective modification only you have to buy the Yamaha R15 side panels. But the only thing is to be notified here is, the panel must be aligned in a proper manner. In the sense, if the side panel is fixed a little lower up to that silencer then it looks much better than this. Modifying bikes means we are changing it to a new dimension so we have to bother about the perfect design too. For every modification there must have a perfection. Try to remember this, modification must be done very perfectly.

Really am amazed Yamaha R15 complete kit and side panels are perfectly matching for Pulsar. Every time Pulsar proves that its a monster and any kind of modification can be perfectly done with it.

You can easily figure out the modification done here. I wont suggest to cut the mud guard, I prefer baby Pulsar's Tail kit.

Remember as i always says, make sure about its symmetry and ground clearance while assembling spares.

SPARE PARTS USED ARE
  • YAMAHA R15 SIDE PANELS
  • REAR ALLOY PAINT
  • STICKER WORKS
Pros
  • It looks cool and make you feel amazing.
  • We can say it as, it is made for Pulsar.
  • cost effective modification.
  • Pulsar 220 is  a oil cooled engine so that you don't have to worry about the engine cooling system.
Cons
  • Alignment must  be perfectly done.
  • Proper maintenance must be given to bike.
Your valuable comment and suggestions are welcome.

Amazing, isn't it?

The Yamaha R15 version 1 completely suits to Hero Honda Hunk. It looks stunning. The perfect glossy white color matches with the muscle Hunk. Its not a heavy modification, but Yamaha R15 kit is costly. If any one planning for adding a R15 kit to Hunk, then it is a nice deal. You will feel like a Hunk for sure.

I wish it had a split handle and a bigger rear Tyre.

While fixing R15 kit make sure about the welding work. It must be covered under the kit so that no one sees the welding parts, we must do it with utter perfection..

Pulsar 200 to Yamaha R15 ver 2.0

Fusion is something that not always generates good results, except in this case. I have always loved the sound of great exhausts, it’s Yamaha R6 that got me into it. For a normal biker we couldn't afford a Yamaha R6. So for those who like R6, I’ve edited 2008 Pulsar 200 with and Yamaha R15 version 2.0 to make it look unique.

Yamaha R15 version 2.0 is carved from Yamaha R6.

Take a look on Yamaha R15 version 2.0.

I had a concept in mind that bike should look unique and different. So before implementing it I edited things using Photoshop so that you can get a clear idea about how it going to look and whether it suits to your bike or not. I did not want it to look like an R15 version 1.0; I simply wanted a new look which combines the best bits of the Pulsar and R15 version 2.0.

 WOW! was my first reaction.

Its quite surprised me. Yamaha R15 version 2.0 head light kit really suits to Pulsar 200.
Those who are going to modify their bike like this, I have a suggestion. If you add a Mono suspension and Split handle it will look more stunning. I rate this 7.5/10.

Pulsar 135 modified to R15

Superb!!!

Its a classy modification of all, and Yamaha R15 kit really suits to baby Pulsar. Rear disk break gives a sporty look. Removing the mud guard offers a little height difference and its cool.
Here you got both look and mileage in hand.
As I always say, while assembling R15 kit you have to verify the symmetry and position of the kit and must check the ground clearance.

Here i prefer one thing that is bigger rear Tyre, which could be a great compliment to its look.

SPARE PARTS USED ARE:
  • R15 HEAD ASSEMBLY  KIT
 Pros
  • It looks cool and makes you feel better.
  • Yamaha R15 kit has an aerodynamic structure.
